I was trying to think of some new concepts to try out, and then I had an idea! I know.. cheesy. Anywho, I remembered I'd had some old burnt out light bulbs somewhere ('cause I save pretty much anything I can), so I took the best looking one out and photographed it a few times. I used four pieces of card stock (2 white, 2 black) and placed them in a checker pattern sort of way. I fiddled around with the lighting to get it just how I wanted, and then snapped a bunch of photos. I originally set out to just snap photos of the light just standing all by itself, but after about 10 shots I decided to make things interesting. So, on went the self-timer, and I threw my hand in the picture... more less. I'm pretty happy with the result. I had to do a bit of a contrast adjustment to get the colors just right. Enjoy!
This is great concept (even though I didn't quite get how you managed to do that ). Anyhow, shot is great, I like how it turned out, and I like the idea thing
As I said, concept is great, I love it, but I think it'd also be interesting to see one without hand, just bulb. I'm just curious how would it look like.
cheers

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
